He moved on to Heidelberg Stadt theater, where he was a memorable Malvolio in Twelfth Night, struggling visibly with itchy cross-gartered stockings as he performed a series of athletic gags on a steep staircase. The great stage actor Bernhard Minetti pronounced Sander a fine character actor in the making. In 1965, in his first engagement at the Düsseldorf Kammerspiele, he showed a natural gift for comedy he had no lines in Václav Havel's The Garden Party, but with thick glasses and skilfully mimed myopia he brought the house down. He did his military service as a naval reserve officer.

According to William Brown of "Benny's Places," Benny and Johnny Hutch's hand-slapping and clapping routine is a recreation of a bit that Benny and Jackie Wright performed years before in a previous episode.

A old lady ( Sue Upton) plays the violin with the help of Johnny Hutch. A member of the Schtompers ( Jon Jon Keefe) accidentally pulls the toupee off another member ( Johnny Hutch) with his trombone. An old German lady ( Bob Todd) hangs his underwear on the trombone of a Schtomper ( Jon Jon Keefe). A member of the Schtompers ( Johnny Hutch) plays his tuba only to find a smaller one in it. 
Johnny Hutch tries to proposition Sue Upton outside of Benny's Trunks and gets eaten by a steamer trunk. 
Lorraine Doyle's pink suitcase getting mounted by a studded suitcase ( Henry McGee throws water on them). Sara Throssell delayed by her suitcase before Benny's Trunks (The three Angels before her are unidentified). Susie Waring as the girlfriend of a biker ( Benny Hill) who stops to ogle Alison Deegan(?). Six of the Angels as nuns before "Just Marriage" (one nun stays behind to dream a bit). Jon Jon Keefe and Anna Dawson as pedestrians outside of Spuds You Like. The Little Dimpton accompanying bits features:. The sketch opens with the music from the Little Dimpton Street Party from Februbeing used again as well as on the same city set. Benny comes out as well and performs with them doing fancy stuff with a tambourine himself. The Angels wrap the festival getting thrown tambourines and performing with them. A bit perturbed, Ollie sits down on his trumpet, flattening it. When it is assembled, Stannie learns its made of candy and starts eating the mouth piece. Ollie picks up his trumpet, but Stannie's oboe comes apart when he lifts it so Ollie stands to fix it. Off to the side, Laurel and Hardy ( Sue Upton and Benny Hill) sit and watch the entertainment. The female member wears a set of bells on the front of her blouse which she only shakes when their leader can't see her. Their movements to the music create the tune. The rest of the group then appear and perform a dance while wearing bells of different pitch which are attached to their legs and arms. Two of the Schtompers then appear and do a friendly slapping routine that nearly resorts in a fight. The Angels appear and dance to a Bavarian-style tune wearing German costumes with suspenders and lederhosen. The members include Benny Hill, Johnny Hutch, Lorraine Doyle, Bob Todd, Henry McGee and Jon Jon Keefe with an opening act by the Hill's Angels. Otto Schtuk und die Bavarian Schtompers is a German dance and entertainment group who perform outside of the Kabaret Klug in Little Dimpton.
